Welcome! I am a second year Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Pittsburgh in the Department of Health Policy & Management. I am currently working and learning under the mentorship of Dr. Lindsay Sabik. My work focuses on how payment structures and provider incentives shape care decisions for oncology patients. My 2025-2026 job market paper investigates how per-diem payment models impact care delivery.
In 2024, I received my PhD in Economics from Wayne State University where my dissertation focused on changes in dietary behaviors following the COVID-19 pandemic. My dissertation advisors were Shooshan Danagoulian and Allen Goodman. My research contributes to the literature on long-term behavioral effects of policies during the pandemic, as well as to the public discourse on broad evaluations of nutrition.
In addition, I maintain an affiliation with ASPIRE Labs within Wayne State's Department of Kinesiology & Health Studies. We have evaluated the cost-effectiveness of various school-based interventions for mental health progress and drug prevention. We work with a variety of partners to implement and evaluate changes in student psychometric and drug-belief indicators following effective curriculum implementation.
Outside of academia, I enjoy cooking, watching the Boston Celtics, and I am currently in marathon training!
